It's Sunday, day two at home. Our first night went well in comparison to the first night with Caleb. We used our past experience to our benefit and made use of our baby swing in our bedroom for easy watching over the little guy. Our Florida room was extremely handy for going to for the late night feedings. The French doors are so good for keeping the noise in and so I could feed the little one without disturbing anyone. I set up all the necessary things for late night changing in our room and was able to change a few diapers with no trouble.
Caleb is doing as well as any three year old would when he's no longer the only kid in the house. He's acting up to get attention and is frustrated at times when he has to wait. But, he is a loving big brother and likes to check on him and know where he's at. We have one of his stools by the crib so that he can stand up and look in on his baby brother.
Cameron is doing well and is a sleeply little newborn. But, trying to get him up during the day to eat often and safe the sleeping for naptime. I made sure to talk to the hospital about the difference between waking a sleeping baby and yet their rule of thumb about feedings at least every four hours. Even the second time around it can be confusing with the different opinions and advice!
All in all, we're doing well so far and the second time around I do think that we have a stronger confidence sooner than we did before. I am looking forward to things only going up from here and getting even smoother in our routines.
Will post when possible but still trying to rest and nap as often as possible. Wanted to get the first shots up here now and then it may be a few days before I return.
Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for all of the well wishes and positive thoughts as C-day came and went!

C-day CANCELLED!!!!!
Around 8 last night we had a phone call from the hospital that my C-section was cancelled. What??? I really thought it was a crazy joke but yes they said that they didn't have enough beds and so they were bumping me. The plan is for tomorrow morning but I will be calling my doctor once they open and confirm that we are guaranteed and can't be cancelled again.
All the thoughts of Baby C arriving earlier than his scheduled day, never thought that he would wind up coming later. He's really making us wait to meet him.
But, I guess it's again less than 24 hours away before we'll meet him.....I hope!
Will keep you posted!!!

ONE day to C-day
Wow, really didn't think we'd come right down to the day and follow Plan A. There's still time for something to change but it really looks like Baby C wants to just wait it out. I have continued to have Braxton Hicks contractions which I consider them that because they come in the evening after I've been on the go all day. Once I lay down to go to sleep, they go away and everything settles down. Even if I start to think that they are beginning of something, they do stop once I really stop and rest.
Just working through my last day of work, putting things in order here and making sure everything is nice and tidy until I return. Still an unexpected surprise to have this time for final preparations.
Less than 24 hours to go now. Will post an update as soon as possible.

4 days to C-day
How weird to be so close to Baby C's arrival. With Caleb's surprise attack, we never got this many days away. Most of the time I am fairly comfortable. When I do get a lot of baby movement or some Braxton Hicks contractions, I just know that it's a few days away before this pregnancy will end. As Carey said this morning, in some ways the nine months has gone by quickly. It doesn't feel that long ago that I was just wearing baggier regular clothes. Soon these maternity duds will be no longer needed.
We've been trying to take it easy this weekend and just putting the final touches on things. Actually, that reminds me that the nursery is about set and I should get a picture or two before I forget....perhaps time for a little more nesting while I still have the time. These last few days are going to go by quickly. Very, very soon, our family of three will be four.
If I don't get to post again before it, see you all on the other side when I am mom to two boys!

P.S. Yes, I see those few of you who have held out to vote late in the poll. Not ones to gamble I see. More and more it's starting to look like Baby C will wait it out until C-day. We'll see, right?
