Well, we still don't have an official date for the C-section but at my checkup yesterday, the doctor confirmed my feeling that I could probably figure about 1 week before my due date. Due date= 4/2/08, one week before = 3/26/08. So, that's when I've got my sights set. We'll likely schedule it at 35 weeks.
All is looking good and normal. Baby C has definitely grown and is regularly moving around and kicking, making himself known. It still catches me by surprise sometimes and it's weird to be sitting reading a magazine and have it move a bit when he kicks or moves around in there.
I've managed after a Disney weekend to catch myself another cold. This one is worse than the last time as my nose is very stuffy. I was amazed last night that I did get some relief to sleep. I am giving thanks for that. Would be nice if it would clear up today though. It is day two of feeling just like this and not too much fun not to be able to breathe! I figure I'm on day four of the cold and so hopefully it will start to ease up soon.
Now that we've had one last hurrah to Disney for just our little three person family, now it's time to buckle down and get the nursery ready. Time to start saving up for the extra diapers and goodies that Baby C will need. And maybe time for me to start resting up on the weekends while I can at least a little.
Hope everyone is doing well and taking care.

Checkup today, life at 28 weeks
Boy, I realized in looking at my Pregnancy Journal today that next week I will move into the beginning of my 8th month. Seemed like I was stuck in a bit of limbo for awhile there but now I'm almost 8 months along. Then that means I have about two months left. That sounds pretty good, two is a nice small number.
I had a regular checkup today and had another bit of a surprise in that I will now have checkups every two weeks. Again, just didn't feel like I was that far along. I forgot when the more often checkups started.
Of course on the flip side, I have been more aware of the last few pounds I've put on since the last checkup. I definitely feel like Baby C has had a growth spurt. This is wonderful for him but all of a sudden, I feel very full of baby! He still kicks very low a lot but rib pain and regular doses of Tums are starting to come back. I remember this part!!!
I know we are way overdue for a new picture. I'm hoping this evening to take one before I change out of my nicer work clothes into the comfy stuff I like to wear in the evenings. One has to be ready for all of kinds of imaginative adventures with Caleb. We could be pirates one minute and then have a marching band parade a few minutes later.
Thankfully nothing out of the ordinary is happening and I am continuing to have a nice, quiet pregnancy. Even did well on my Gestational Diabetes test and have nothing to worry about in regards to that. Which is very good since my cravings have been more for sweets and goodies lately.
So, until next time, hope the new year continues to treat you and yours very well and we'll talk to you soon.
Take care,
CC
P.S. Added a new poll for ha has. I know the last one was very tough to vote. Once I post a newer picture, maybe that will help for guessing on Baby C's weight.

Happy New Year!
Hope the beginning of 2008 finds everyone doing well. We are doing good. If I am correct and we can have the C-section in the 39th week, then I figure we have 12 weeks to go now. I'm starting to have times that it is tough to get comfortable as Baby C gets bigger. But, for the most part, he is sitting lower than Caleb did and causing a lot less heartburn. He still kicks very low and has a few times a day that he will work on his kicking and moving.
With the holiday rush over and behind us, we're just hoping to have some calm, quiet days and enjoy some "normal" routine for a little while. Caleb is getting quite sad when we talk about taking down the Christmas tree and I expect we'll have a bit of a fight on our hands. Perhaps we'll have to work on some snowflake decorations so the house won't be too bare.
My next checkup is on the 9th and I don't anticipate anything too exciting coming of that. Just coming to a quiet waiting time I guess. In the next month or so, we'll get to work more on bringing the nursery together. We're looking at some green paint chips for a color to compliment the Classic Pooh theme we'll have in there.
Happy New Year wishes to one and all. Take care and talk to you soon.
